Sandia Research Corporation's mission is to provide creative technology innovation to solve challenges facing our US Government customers. We consistently use a multi-disciplinary approach for the majority of our projects.
Our team members specialize in physics, geophysics, numerical modeling, electrical and computer engineering, and cognitive engineering.
Sandia Research Associates, Inc. was founded in 1988 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 1997, the name was changed to Sandia Research Corporation. SRC relocated to Mesa, AZ in 2002. Steven Shope, Ph.D. was the founder of Sandia Research Corporation and continues to serve as President. He completed his Ph.D. in Physics and Geophysics at The Pennsylvania State University.
